REMco GlassMax Grinders are designed exclusively for the reduction of glass containers, plate glass, and other types of glass to fine cullet. The GlassMax easily converts all forms of glass cullet, with or without contaminants, to furnace-ready powder. Highly efficient, the GlassMax 5500, 6500 and 7500 models can produce 12, 16, 20-mesh or finer contaminant-free cullet powder.

When operating in a properly designed cullet grinding circuit, all GlassMax models will neutralize or reject all common contaminants and ceramics, ovenware, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics, etc. leaving only a finely-ground, clean furnace-ready powder. The REMco GlassMax is the only machine that reduces cullet and produces a contaminant free powder which can be fed directly to the furnace. This is possible because of the exclusive use of non-metallic linings and construction of the cullet flow path within the machine.

The REMco refined and field-proven glass-on-glass differential grinding action also prevents powder contamination by metal particles originating from machine wear parts. This sets GlassMax apart from conventional impact crushers which are poorly suited for the severe demands of grinding glass.
