The REMco OreMax VSI crushers are based on the larger size models. The OreMax designation applies to crushers capable of 800 hp and above to the limit of 1500 hp. These machines are of extra-heavy duty construction and designed for the severe demands of multiple shift continuous service. The bearings, shafts and general construction of these crushers is heavier than all other VSI crushers.

Complimenting the OreMax construction are REMco’s unique CONQUEROR rotors which provide rotor service intervals of 1,000 hours or more between changes.

REMco OreMax as pre-mills are autogenous crushers designed for operating as fourth stage hard rock reduction machines. They are designed for closed circuit operation. Typically, they will receive feed from the preceding crushers and produce a finer mill feed than fine head cone crushers, thereby, enhancing the capacity of existing grinding mills. OreMax crushers can be used for producing products of minus 1/8” or finer in closed circuit.

ImageMaximum recommended feed size will vary dependent on type, hardness and shape of rock or ore to be crushed. Larger, angular feeds will reduce capacity; finer, cubical feeds will increase capacity. Maximum recommended reduction ratio is 8:1. Larger reduction ratios are possible, but this may effect circulating load and finished tonnage rate of product.
