REMco GlassMax Grinders, developed in 1991 and now a world standard for the crushing / grinding of glass. These special machines are designed exclusively for the reduction of waste glass containers, plate glass, and other types of glass to fine pulverized cullet.
The GlassMax easily converts all forms of glass cullet, with or without contaminants, to furnace-ready powder. REMco GlassMax can also be used for producing coarse products such as glass chips or grit. Highly efficient, the GlassMax in sizes from model 50 to model 300 can produce 12, 16, 20-mesh or finer contaminant-free cullet powder.

When operating in a properly designed cullet grinding circuit, all GlassMax models will neutralize or reject all common contaminants and eliminate ceramics, ovenware, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics, etc. leaving only a finely-ground, clean furnace-ready powder. The REMco GlassMax is the only machine that reduces cullet and produces a contaminant free powder which can be fed directly to the furnace. This is possible because of the exclusive use of non-metallic linings and construction of the cullet flow path within the machine.
